These writers who take it upon themselves to prevent unanimous selections confuse me. Shouldn't they only be voting based whether or not a player deserves induction?
I don't accept the premise that a voter can believe someone should be in the Hall of Fame yet doesn't vote for him to be in the Hall of Fame when the opportunity arises. That makes said voter a retard. Honestly, I think all of these writers who make statements explicitly contrary to their HOF votes should be removed from the BWAA. |
