4/180 Just checking to see if anybody else would play it this way
This is the first hand so I have no reads at all. I'm really wanting to see if the flop is correct for everyone else. But advice on everything is cool too.

You're way ahead / way behind on the flop. So just call to induce bluffs on later streets and keeping the pot small makes it easier to get to show down.

Re: 4/180 Just checking to see if anybody else would play it this way
That min flop bet is a bit confusing, usually this means super weak player.. If a weak player is betting I am on high alert.
33,AQ,KQ, QT, Q9, JQ obv less likely as well as any suited Q in small stakes all become possiblilities. I agree with getting this to showdown as cheap as possible. At the $4 level (which I play frequently), I'm never folding here, seen 55-TT, AK too many times. |

Meh, 1st hand of the tourney I put him on KQ/QJ, assume that he's not folding and try to get to showdown cheaply on the off chance he's donk betting away with 88.

Re: 4/180 Just checking to see if anybody else would play it this way
i would read the flop as a probe bet and call with the intention of betting or raising the turn. as played i think it's a fold on the turn.
raising the flop folds out worse hands. i like a call here to get at least one more bet out of a lesser hand. 20 chips is 20 chips. i want every one of them. i think the raise is more often than not incorrect here. |
