I do the same thing. I hate sleeping though. I mean I like the feeling of being refreshed from sleeping but wasting time sleeping suck imo. When I have nothing to do the next day, I sometimes stay up all night for no reason.

Diablito,

I have had this problem since Freshman year of undergrad. This post is a reasonable example.

However, the last couple years I have actually begun to have trouble sleeping as well. There have been stretches where I wind up going to bed at 3-4 and don't actually fall asleep until probably 6 or 7. I generally have a ton of [censored] running through my head and can't seem to stop it. It's not so bad as a lot of it is thinking through research I'm doing but it still isn't good overall and is especially bad when I can't fall asleep for a few days in a row and have to wake up early for some reason.

Your favorite Sevillista,

Jared

Diablo,

I was hoping this problem would magically disappear once I graduated.

Gentlemen, I have your solution: children. Spend long enough not knowing when you're next going to need to be awake, and you will dive for the bed at every opportunity.

One new thing I have done to cap my nightoff is unplug my laptop when I start to get tired. Then I know I have an hour or so to get everything finished. Leaving the charger in the other room is important for this pitting my laziness against my sleeping issue. Sad but true.

I have had this problem forever.

[/ QUOTE ]

For example:

I played a 3r satellite to the 215 a few years ago that started at 12am. Just because I didn't feel like going to sleep and it was the only donkament about to start.

I stayed up until 5am playing that [censored].

I had to wake up to take the SATs at 7:30 that morning.

But of course I knew that and had registered for the donkament anyway.

I have had this problem forever, and it has REALLY gotten worse since I started smoking weed regularly. I find it almost impossible to sleep now if I don't smoke..
