TPGK: spewage?
I was a bit torn on the raise PF, since I knew it wouldn't fold anyone out, and I'd be out-of-position post flop, but hey, KQs is a good hand here.
Villain is very loose (65 VPIP, 32 PFR over 22 hands, though I didn't really know that at the time). Invariably I have a tough time with turn raises. I guess it depends who it is; at the time I only had about 8 hands on this fellow, so, should I be thinking TPGK is no good? Obviously I shut down the aggression and called it down, but what do other people think? It smells like a set or two-pair, but of course I've seen people do this with middle pair, bottom pair, and even nothing at all. Pretty much drawing dead to a set, but do have outs for two pair, which is why I'm calling the turn, but what about the river call? I didn't really care too much about the ace there, given the action so far (most people seem to raise their aces pre flop). Re: TPGK: spewage?
PF is perfect you have a good mutiway hand. The rest of the hand is good also. You have an unknown limper who's range is all over the map. He could easily have both a worse and better hand. No reason to fold or raise.

Re: TPGK: spewage?
It's all good, except maybe the vacillation about raising KQs preflop.
The river is close-- against some players I'd save myself the 1BB, but against an unknown I'd definitely call. |

Re: TPGK: spewage?
i agree with buck, its tough to put him on a range since you havent played with him, just call it down like you did without reraising and gather information to use for the future. You cant expect to lay this down in this spot every time and make a profit so you must call it down a good amount and let the bluffers bluff.

Re: TPGK: spewage?
The turn is good getting 6 to 1. Call the river too against an unknown. You'll see a missed flush draw and hands like KJ often enough to make the call +EV getting 8 to 1.

Re: TPGK: spewage?
I wouldn't think twice about raising this PF. You can't fold and you can't limp, especially out of position. Everything else is pretty standard.
