Re: Favorite/Least Favorite airport for travel
[ QUOTE ]
I've flown from MIA to international places several times, and I hate it so, so much. Really hate it. It seems like gates are miles apart, and none of the amenities are above average. [/ QUOTE ] oh yeah... i forgot to mention how far apart the gates were. The worst part is that only like one airline EVER has direct flights SEA to MIA, and there are never any direct for the return flight. I need to buy my own jet... |

Re: Favorite/Least Favorite airport for travel
Favorite: Burbank, CA. Fifteen minutes from my house, easy to get in and out of (valet!), small and generally uncrowded.
Least favorite: Logan Airport, Boston, MA. What a total piece of crap. It's my hometown so I have to go here to see my family, but everything is wrong with this airport. Everything. Runner up for least favorite: The Atlanta airport, whatever it's called. Similar to Logan, but access is a little easier. |

kb4z, what makes logan so bad? [/ QUOTE ] - Difficult to get to and from - Security is so badly organized, especially when going to an American gate - Employees more totally retarted than your average airport worker, which is very. - Bathrooms a complete mess - Runways laid out badly so a wind over 15 mph closes a runway (I think, I don't remember the number but it's low) |

The worst airport to have to switch planes in is Kansas City.

Re: Favorite/Least Favorite airport for travel
SF is terrible. There are 4 runways and but with bad weather (i.e. clouds or fog) only 2 are used. I was once on a flight from JFK to SFO that was delayed because of fog in SF. It was snowing in NY.
McCarran seems to consistently have the bumpiest landings (hot air rising from the sand, I guess) but it's by far the best airport I've seen that can handle huge crowds going both in and out. |
