This is actually exactly how I would expect the average 22 donk to play this hand.

Do you like or dislike the preflop raise call and the flop re-raise call?

[/ QUOTE ]
No. I don't like how he played any street. I mean seriously, if I posted this hand, I would get ripped apart for it. But when Giga plays it that way, it's cause he's on a different level. Come on....this is a bad play. Period.

I have played with both of you. There is no comparison.

I don't get it. What does that mean? I wasn't comparing myself to Giga.

Gigabet is at the "no-mind" level of the game, where it looks like he's playing like a complete donk, while in fact he is in total control of everything that is happening on Party Poker and elsewhere.

this hand looks bad in a vacuum, but if there's a read that villain overplays mediocre hands, then it looks fine.

Of course if Giga knows with high confidence that villain plays any Ax this way on the flop, then the play makes more sense. Especially if he knows villain will go broke here with any ace.

I quit for the evening very soon after this game. I was talking on the phone as this hand was playing out, and I believe I mentioned to my friend on the other end about how well I was fitting in with the 22 players.

I still wanted you to have AA on this hand. I thought that would be much more interesting, as the title of this post promised...

I was rather hoping the comment by the player had made you change your play

Giga, I was uncertain whether or not to share this hand. I'm guessing it's ponderous to be under the microscope all of the time but thought it warranted a review. It's gracious of you to allow us all to dissect your game all of the time and it's appreciated. Although you really donked up this hand
