[/ QUOTE ] I agree, from the table talk it seemed clear that they split half of the money with the winner taking the other half. Basically they made it $90K/$30K for the top 2 spots. What do you mean by the "ridiculous" blind structure? Its an SNG, that's how they work anywhere I've ever played or seen them. They have to end in a reasonable amount of time, especially when it gets HU. FWIW I thought the structure was very fair and we got to see a lot of play, especially early but even the HU segment was over a full 1 hour episode. Nothing ridiculous about it.

Finally caught up with this week's episodes. Just watched the "Director's Cut". All week people have been complaining about wanting to see more Shana. All week we kept hearing from Menancing and Kobe to "watch the directors cut, more shana" ad nauseum. So I watch the director's cut and want to know where's the "more shana" 1 90 second interview at the end and some bloopers. Lame.

[/ QUOTE ] Few points: 1) Your analysis of the show in an earlier thread was well-written and much appreciated 2) I don't recall commenting on Shana being the show more as the week went on. I think you'll agree that in future weeks, she has more of a role (more interviews, more on camera time, etc)

I think the show i watched had 'poker' in the title yet you're literally craving more from a female hostess? What exactly do you want her to do, jump up on the table and flick her cl!t everytime 'All IN' is announced? i really dont get it, yeah she's hot but christ watch porn if you're looking for instant hits.

[/ QUOTE ] Here's my thoughts on this. I'm really not sure it was the structure so much as the players. The table was 6 handed, the blinds started low enough with a decent amount of play. The thing was everyone at the table was playing so tight and passive. Obviously if you show almost every hand, there will be "boring hands" but it just seemed like no one was playing very aggressive at all. At a 6 handed table I didn't expect so much passive play with alot of it being borderline weak. When the blinds were low, it seemed like everyone was waiting for the blinds to go up before making a move but then the blinds got high and everyone was still playing all passive. It's possible it had to do with the winner take all format but I'm not sure. It'll be interesting to see what happends this week with a new group of players.

[/ QUOTE ] Well I certainly wouldn't be opposed to that but I think your getting a little carried away. I would just like her to a have a bigger role on the show that's all. (more interviews, maybe a "WPT academy"-like segment etc.)
