Widescreen 1920x1200 rez...Desktop icons seem huge?
Like the title suggests, I'm trying to figure out why the icons on my desktop are so disproportionately big when compared to my 2001fp monitors that are 1600x1200 resolution where the icon are much "smaller".
Does anyone know how to fix this? I prefer having everything smaller with high resolution... Thanks! KoW |

What are you running the 1900x1200 on?

I really have no idea unless it's some accessibility setting (I never use them so I don't know if there's an icon size setting)

Display properties - Appearance - Font Size
Make sure this is set to normal. Large or XL changes the icon size along with the text. If you are talking about icons in the start menu area. Right click on "start" - Properties - Start Menu - Customize. |

Re: Widescreen 1920x1200 rez...Desktop icons seem huge?
I think I found what I was looking for... thanks guller.
For those playing at home, under XP pro: Display properties - Appearance - (font size was set normal) - click on Advanced - then in the Item drop down, select Icon - adjust the size from there. Before my size was at 62, I made it 32, and the icons on the desktop are now much more reasonably sized. Thanks KoW |
