\"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (week of 1/8)
Again, I need to start the thread early on Monday, so hopefully a kind soul, like Bart, will post what games will be featured on the show this week for those that care to watch.

Are you kidding? too cheap to pay 14.95 per month to see LATB? You are entitled to your own opinion but please don't whine about it here in that manner... IMO the 14.95 are WELL worth it, if you don't then just don't watch it.

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (week of 1/8)
DON'T BLAME BOSTIN
================== The quality of the commentary on Live at The Bike has deteriorated to little more than dribble. The main reason for this lack of insight is the lack of thought put into David Tuchman's replacement. Bostin should not be blame for accepting a position he is not qualified for, the show producer is who the finger should be wagged at. Tuch like Bart has an exceptional understanding of poker theory. Their nightly give and take reflected the in depth knowledge they both possessed. More often than not this wealth of material resulted in the viewer obtaining a better understanding of the game. Unfortunately, Bostin doesn't have the same level of understanding as Tuch. Therefore we're left with Bart desperately trying to hold up the play by play and analyst end of the broadcast. As if this isn't hard enough Bart's focus is further diminished by constantly having to take time to explain to Bostin what most of the listeners quickly grasp. Since the producers of Live at the Bike didn't put much thought into hiring Bostin we, the viewers, have been cheated. The only reasonable solution at this point, aside from finding an appropriate replacement is to have Bostin do the play by play and Bart handle the analyst. That way Bostin will be too busy talking fact to make silly observations. |

In respect of the show, for I am a big fan, I agree with your review. Tuch needs to be replaced with someone that has the depth that Bart has. I, of late, have been avoiding live shows and reviewing archives where Bart and Dave are both on. The pair in unison offer great insight and intelligent debate. If producers are listening take notice - save the show - why lose what is the best telecast of live poker, or poker for that matter?

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (week of 1/8)
Bart, have you asked Mo about the big bluff on Friday's show last week where he had the 77 vs the other guy's 56 on the Q9K two diamonds flop and Mo c/r, the guy 3bet and made some comment about AK and Mo 4bet? I'm curious what it was that made Mo make that play because it was pure awesome.
