On this board, with this action and your position a check/call is best for many reasons. 1) If you lead and are raised then you're paying more for your draw. 2) If you are raised a good amount and push, then you're getting called taking the worse of it almost always except for gambling straight draws.

A nut flush draw and an overcard is not a strong draw. It's not even a favorite, and if all the money goes in you likely have 9 outs at best.

I commonly see people playing these incorrectly in limped pots in msnl. Unless you never bluff scare cards and feel your checking and calling will become transparent, you're best to watch the action develop here first and then find the best course of action. You have many options including CRAI on turn or bluffing river. The hand isn't only won on the flop.

Well, sounds reasonable enough.
I do take the more passive line sometime with this kind of draw in multiway pot being OOP, but since i figured, those LAPs aren't gonna increase the pot for me and i won't get payed off big if i hit and the pot is like 50 bucks...

I actually like your suggestion better in agressive table, where i might get raised and reraised and will have to gamble/flip with a draw...

Table is pretty loose passive, i saw no value in raising A8s from BB.

I never raise here for fear of driving out the other limped-in clubs that we might stack.

stack how?

i think its ok

i dont mind smaller or larger bet size on the flop. i dont like 3betting the flop, bc im not sure how many ppl minraise limped pots then fold.. co's cold call is probably a draw, which is good, as you could overflush him.

the turn you're prolly wondering if your oesd is live or not, i think KQ is so infrequently there minus KQc specifically. (certainly possible but labeling that as the only hand is too narrow) QJc (for the turn, we know its not there on the river!) or QJ flatout is possible, but thats fine, you're still live.

on the rive ri probably just push, 197 into 218 is fine. ppl dont fold lower flushes and QJ or KJ may call you, too. if you DID run into a weird JT or 33 or 99 them's the breaks.

and no, for 97 more you cant fold.

Hands looks good to me. It feels goofy, but multiway small pots often are.

a good point that I generally agree on when not at a table teeming with loose passive players. If a loose passive player is limping with K5s or Q7s etc, I believe more often than not he will be getting the money in when he hits his flush, since that is exactly what is flashing through his mind when he limps in the first place.

Rele crappy river; however I think I would have c/f turn b/c UTG folded, and you're not getting very good odds to call, especially since CO isn't that deep. River I'm inst-busto too. Running J's is unexpected to hit the opponent, and what kind of donk mini-raises that flop with a set in a multiway pot...?

Push river, reload.

Edit: I'd push turn if I thought i'd get any fold equity. The flop miniraise and teaser bet on the turn tells me different.

I play it the same except I push river. A flush is always calling and we have to call the raise when he has a boat anyway.

I usually lead this flop. Why do people prefer check calling? I feel it turns our hand even more face up than any other line.
