This might be awfully results-oriented, but what are your thoughts of going with a river c/c, carn? Villain liked his hand enough on the flop and has a high river aggression factor.

tbh, i looked at his river aggression after the hand was over. I think that even an agro guy like this is likely to check behind with KQ or JJ in a big pot like this when they always put you on AK. But his agro is low on other streets, which means i guess he can show up with a small set here, which is gross.

But if they put you on AK, are they calling a river bet there? We're obviously in search of the highest EV line. With your read and that board, I like a river bet, but I thikn the raise means you're toast.

Edit: you're getting nearly 4:1 on the call, but I'm not even sure I'd make it.

never bet this river. you don't get a worse hand to call you.
A9 or KT is a very likely holding here, maybe AQ.
i would bet more on the flop.

I'd bet like 32 on the flop. 27 looks weak

c/c river.

This can only be A9, A3, a total bluff or someone getting retarded with AJ/AT. I think A9 is most likely with bluff/AJ being stupid in a close second.

i'd fold, the small size of his raise combined with the fact that your hand is faceup makes me think he is never bluffing here....and obv nothing you beat raises for value.
