biggest bankroll downswing?

i'm going thru a 100BB downswing over the past three month. it's about 25% of my roll and i'm handling it well and it does not affect my play too much. what is your largest downswing? is 100bb a common swing? i play mid limits from 20/40 to 75/150. but mostly 20-40 40-80.

My personal biggest is about 300BB. About a year and a half ago.

If you went through a 100BB swing and that's 25% of your bankroll wouldn't that mean you entire roll is only 4 buyins so you're playing limits that are too high for your bankroll or am I missing something here?

In limit play I've had a 500BB downswing.

i play limit, and 400bb is above the required roll for middle stakes where you typically buy in for 15-30 bb.

live play? if you go down another 50, get a little concerned. I've dropped 125bb once and have never come close to that since.

I'm just coming out of a 400BB downward spike (tilt?). So no sympathies.

Is this online or live? FR or 6-max? In 6-max, 100 BB swings aren't uncommon.

I'm a limit player with perhaps 1/2 million hands under my belt . . . .(man that is open to a few jokes).

ANYWAY - 100 is not COMMON but certainly not uncommon.

A few months ago I had a 150BB downswing in 30 table hours. I've never had more then that so far.

100 sucks! I was at -100, got to -75 and then the second wave hit me to go to -148BBs.

But it all comes back. Remember, when you trip on a sidewalk you don't start thinking you forgot how to walk. You just look for any more cracks and continue on. Your a little late to your destination but you'll get there.

It's just a trip.
