Yeah, [censored] cardplayer. I've been trying to follow the PCA using their live update pages, but they suck, and only are listing the people that they view as special. Very sporadic and annoying.

Plus, this is what they said about the bubble bursting:

The Bubble Bursts
Max Greenwood was just eliminated from the tournament when his A-Q failed to improve against the pocket nines of Shannon Shorr.

Hand-for-hand play is over and play continues for the final 180 players.

[/ QUOTE ]

so annoying if they can't even get people involved in the hand right.

At least I won a bit of cash from the Chiddy off of you, due to your outlasting of the Alan Sass... Better luck time Maxwell.

Stopped back in the room for a minute, moderately drunk, still speaking english and not spanish (i don't know how to speak spanish, but will figure is out by night's end). I am probably less upset with busting out having payed full entry (and room and stuff) then if I qualified, mainly because I think if I qualified the money would mean a lot more while if I had cashed for 9k or whatever (or even 11k or 15k), I would have been underwhelmed having dropped 8k for the tourney.

I also cashed in my two other big buy in tourneys (215th at WSOP ME and 26th at Foxwoods) which would seemingly make this bustout easier, but since this is my first non-cash in a big buy in, it really hurt.

Overall, this tourney is way harder than either of the other two.

Feel your pain, but I respect you shoving in that spot if you saw EV to be gained.

Better luck next time.

If anything, buying in would imply more responsibility. Bubble boy was well aware of the risk involved when playing.

Buying in also implies being "rolled" for the tournament, where the definition of rolled would imply borrowing power.

Last place money paid 1.25 buy-ins

Edit: GIFAFI

[/ QUOTE ]
Adam if he wasn't rolled for it do you think he would have folded aq with 10bbs even though it was hugely +ev. If he really cared he would just fold into the money.

Sorry man, that sucks. Did Button have you covered by a lot?
If not, did he take a while to decide or did he snap call you?
