Dell Duuuh

Im more of an Apple guy but I Have the Inpiron 6400 for poker. I'm trying to get some mods for Full tilt and whenever I try to open them either by email or by 1g USB drive I can open it but Window explorer errors and shuts down. They are coming from a windows machine. Any advice?
