Default NFL Noob Teaser Question

If you're reasonably sure that say for example the eagles will not lose by a full touchdown or more, and that patriots wont lose by more than a field goal, why couldn't you just sweetheart tease them both (assuming the lines are pats/jets -/+ 9 and eagles/giants -/+ 7) to Jets +22, Pats +4, Giants + 20, Eagles +6? I know that there are times where the Patriots or Eagles will lose by more than the given amount, but doesn't it seem profitable in the long run? Just an NFL noob looking for advice.

To the OP, when betting sports, please remember two things:
1) The easiest way to win three NFL wagers is to bet a 4-team parlay; and
2) "Dont tempt fate, bet it straight".

Having said that, the best Sunday play is NYJ/NWE un 38.5
