Re: 3.40 Stars QQ on an UGLY flop
I'd bet the flop, fold to a re-raise.

Re: 3.40 Stars QQ on an UGLY flop
At a 3.40, I would reraise his min bets.
Your opponent looks like he has no idea what he is doing. |

Re: 3.40 Stars QQ on an UGLY flop
c-bet strongly after the flop, a weak bet will only get u more trouble. That bet after a turn (t50) would look me like a feeler bet or a trap, flat call there is good. 2nd bet (t50) after the river, u should have definetly raise for value, just a small amount.
ps! I also appreciate comments on my way of thinkin. Good luck, Mario V |

Re: 3.40 Stars QQ on an UGLY flop
Thinking about it, a c-bet does seem like the easiest way to play this flop. If he folds, golden. If anything else, runaway like a little girl. What amount would a raise be here that would make the decision easiest?

Re: 3.40 Stars QQ on an UGLY flop
600, if he calls it then hes probably trying to trap u with 3rd ace. If he raises, it's an easy fold. As I said before, small bet will show up weakness and gets u more trouble.

Re: 3.40 Stars QQ on an UGLY flop
Mario,
Let me get this right... You want him to stick over 60% of his stack in, and then fold if he gets raised? OP, I think you played it well.. If you c-bet it doesn't need to be the whole pot. I had a QQ hh recently where I hit AA on the flop that I played a little differently if you're interested. (Link) |
