Help a Lurker plan a Date

I met this really cool girl the other night, the first I've actually been interested in getting to know since I ended a serious relationship about a year ago, and I feel slightly off my game. I plan on calling her to make plans tomorrow and don't want to sound like an indecisive ass when I do. Anyway, in the spirit of boredom and out of an utter lack of creativity, I've decided to let OOT suggest a date for me. I promise I will go on a date of OOTs chosing and will post a trip report afterwards. I live in Cleveland (east side) in case anyone wishes to post specific suggestions.

pick a cool bar w/ drinks and light food. ask her if she wants to meet you there Thursday night for a drink. if Thursday is no good, go for Sunday night.

The best way is to say that you're going to be at place ___ (ussually bar or nice restaurant is good) and say, "I'm planning on going to ____ on THURSDAY night to grab dinner for myself. if you want to join me, we can meet or I can pick you up.. if not that's ok"

You need to make it seem really chill and like you're going there anyway and if she comes great, if not that's ok too so it's not too pressured/creepy

edit, going out to eat at an upscale bar/grill is ideal... go a little early (6:30-7:30) so you guys can have a more quiet time to talk and hang out

Ha... I actually remember that thread, and there is a duck pond about 2 miles from me... definitely worth considering.

This is the first time I've heard this and it's quite corny, but I like it.

I like Yeti's call on ice skating. It's cold enough in Cleveland that there's bound to be somewhere that has an outdoor rink. Pittsburgh has a place like this and it's so money :

Cleveland may still have a rink downtown but 1. it sucks, and B. Its really not cold here.
I like the idea, and it's definitely more of what I'm shooting for than meet her in some restaurant/bar... because I pretty much already spent 2+ hours talking to her in a bar.

Dude, Pittsburgh is warmer than Cleveland and the rink is still going here. I'm sure it's still going in Cleveland. Hell, the warmer the better because you don't have to freeze your ass off while you're out there.
