$1, AK w/ Shorty on the Bubble
4 Handed. Blinds 100/200.
She with 2830. SB with 5000. BB with 1415. UTG with 5755. She: K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Pre-flop: 1 folds. She raises to 600. SB calls. 1 folds. Flop (board: 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]): SB bets 300. She folds. I wasn't exactly sure what to do here. I contemplated pushing pre-flop but thought my stack was large enough I didn't need to, and I really hated to call and loose w/ shorty on the bubble. Was a fold correct? |

Yep a fold is correct.

Grrr... I hate folding this but it's correct. Being Big Stack gives him the advantage of being able to push you around, but just try to live and steal blinds occassionally until shorty's done.

Re: $1, AK w/ Shorty on the Bubble
I only am open-raising here with QQ+, anything else I am playing is a shove (so AK/JJ and down).
As played folding to the flop bet is good. |
