Simple POT limit question
What do I do on the turn?
Bet or check? I he's got trips, I don't want the 3rd of the suit to fall or the board to become more coordinated.... but if he's got a draw, I want to give him a chance to take a free card. Since this is PL I bet to build the pot. Any thoughts? It felt like I let him get off too easy, but maybe I'm being results oriented? Re: Simple POT limit question
Looks OK to me. If you know he chases on dangerous boards you can bet more. If he's aggro a half-pot bet looks better to him than a check - if he raises you can get your stack in and if not you can judge the river card and size your bet accordingly.
If he's got nothing he's probably folding whatever happens so hope he's got a piece and bet half the pot. I like. |
