Default 2/4 flopped two pair, boat on the river

Very early in the session so no read on villain. How's my line, and how do I play the river?

Preflop is a little gross, especially without a read.

Flop checkraise seems ok, but I really don't want to see the flop checked through on such a drawy board so I'd probably donk a pot sized bet instead.

On the turn I'm tempted to checkraise again. Made flush doesn't bet $28 here so a raise could help charge a draw, but I really don't want to bloat the pot vs. an unknown. I think check/call is best.

On the river, I don't think we get much value by letting button bet for us, considering his weak turn bet. I'd make a 3/4 PSB to maybe rep a missed draw of some sort and hope the weird line gets a call from some random flush or paired 8.

I don't agree with alot of stuff on here but this line is classic. Well played! I don't want to meet you at the tables.

I agree, thanks for the very good comment.

For the record, I botched the river: I pushed and villain folded.

the size of your flop raise is gross. i'd probably also bet the turn but c/c is ok too

Fold PF.

I would frequently lead the flop, but c/r is fine. If I did c/r, I would pop it to like $120.

As played, I would bet/fold, against some, with a read, but I think the check is fine and good, against an unknown. With that turn bet, obviously you always at least call, and I would raise sometimes, but I don't really like a c/r that much, since it overreps your hand.

River, I'd bet $200

Lead river. I'm only check-raising this river when it's likely he'll bet again. His measily $28 bet on the turn doesn't really look like a flush, though.

Preflop is bad. I would lead the flop. Pushing the river is okay as I don't think he folds a flush that often. Value bet 1/2 pot might be better though; hard to say.

bet half the pot on river. If he does to showdown more than average, bet a little bit more. If he goes to showdown less than average, bet a little bit less.
