Default Live SnG - Playing Pocket Rockets

10 person home SnG with $100 buyin, top 3 paid, pretty standard. Good players, no donks, easy atmosphere and basically good poker and good fun. This is my 4rth session with these guys. They view me as a TAG with some loose tendencies now and then.

Villain is a definite LAG. However, I have decided he is not a maniac but actually a good LAG. And on top of that, he can play deceptively as well. Not a guy I am happy playing against and I peg him as probably a better player than I am.

6 players left. Blinds are 200/400. My stack is 8450. Villain's stack around 10000. Villain is UTG, I am UTG+1.

Vilain calls UTG, I have AA UTG+1 and raise to 1600. It folds around and villain calls. So far, everything seems about normal. Villain has a pretty wide range here and has both called and raised with good hands so I don't have a very narrow read here.

Flop is KQ3 rainbow. Villain bets 1600. He could do this also with a wide range of hands. Actually, betting into the raiser has been one of his aggressive signature moves. It's almost like he wants to snap off continuation bets. I am beginning to hate this guy. But at this moment, I am feeling pretty good. I consider my options here (folding isn't one of them obviously).

I raise to 3000 leaving me about 4000 behind. Villain asks me to count out my stack and then puts me all in. Puke. OK, I am getting 12400/4000 odds to call.

I try to read villain's hand. I really have to discount KK or QQ because he either would have raised UTG or at least reraised me when it got back to him. 33 is also very unlikely. He might have AK or KJ. I also doubt he has a Q like AQ or QJ. Obviously, my main fear is KQ which would fit all the criteria thus far.

Hero is in a big pickle. How do you play this?

"Villain bets 1600"
"I raise to 3000"

I refute the "no donks" statement from the first paragraph.

Also, never fold AA on this flop, even if he's a tight player.

Anyone who raises less than the initial bet sucks. Man law?

Seriously though, get it in on this flop. So what if he had KQ this time?

Do you guys usually say anything when home game donks raise less than the minimum, assuming it doesn't hurt you?

Nope. Just fold, call, or reraise.

I used to say something, but between the blank looks I get when I try to explain min-raise rules, and the "This isn't Vegas" responses, I've gotten, I've pretty much given up. I just learn to accept someone raising my 100 chip bet to 120.

Sorry, I had a typo. I did actually min-raise to 3200. I don't usually min-raise but I counted out my stack when making this decision and it was either min-raise or all-in. My normal raise of 4500-5000 would have left me 2000-2500 behind so it didn't make sense.

Anyways I called, knew he had KQ which he did and knew I wouldn't hit my two outs, which I didn't and went home early.

As I was driving home, I was trying to figure out if I could have gotten away from that. A flop reraise all-in might have given me some fold equity but he obviously would have called with KQ.

I was looking to see if anyone could come up with an analysis that pointed to folding.
