7 Handed. Blinds 75/150.
MP2 with 3230. CO with 1260. BTN with 1200. SB with 1855. BB with 2540. She with 2670. MP1 with 2245. She: Qd Qc Pre-flop: She raises to 450. 2 folds. CO calls. 3 folds. Flop (board: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]): She bets 810 (The remainder of villian's stack) Should I have been this confident that he didn't have an Ace since there are only 2 left in the deck? According to poker stove, if I give him the top 15% of hands this still gives me aprox 63% equity... Does this make my push correct? |

I'd go into check/call mode here. I'm not afraid to get all-in with CO here but I wanna let him have a chance to commit himself with smaller pairs.

Sometimes they turn over an ace and you sigh and often they turn over 88 or something. And sometimes KQ goes away or calls.
Once in a while you can induce a push from them with a worse hand by checking the flop but I don't mind it played this way. TT or a small pair looks you up here a lot anyhow at this level. You arent folding if you try to induce them to bet btw. This is never a check fold spot. |

I think c/c is standard here, and c/f is pretty awful imo. betting lets them fold their total trash, kq etc that they may desperation bluff, plus smaller pairs what have you.
i also raise a bit less pf on a meaningless side note. |

Checking is better than pushing AI, in this spot. Checking gives our opp. a chance to hang himself with a lot of hands that we have crushed. We are either WA/WB in this spot, checking offers the most value...
