Default Hypothetical Satellite situations

This is the scenario:

3 seats paying entry into a $10,000 dollar live tournament, 4 players remain. (4th pays nothing)

Hero (SB) has 75,000
Player 1 (BB)has 50,000
Player 2 (UTG) has 50,000
Player 3 (Button) has 25,000

Blinds 2000/4000/200
1 fold, Villian raises 21,000 to 25,000 (all in),

Hero is in SB with Qh Qd

Call/push/fold?

If you think this is a call, when does it become a fold (e.g. AK, JJ, 1010, etc..??)

If you think it is a fold, when does it become a call?

How does your decision change if you have a.) 50,000 chips, b.) 25,000 chips, c.) 90,000 chips, d.) 110,000

I call in all those situations assuming villains stacks all remain the same in the hypertheticals.

What is your calling range for these scenarios then?

Good question. I don't play sats and would probably call and then post the hand. I don't call with any fewer chips and I don't call any larger bet. I'm calling for sure with 90k+.

I think this is the problem: satellites are basically counter-intuitive as i think you should be more likely to call with the fewer chips you have. Ie. call with 25,000 but as our stack grows, im not sure where the cut-off point would be to call. And then, if our stack is big enough, do we take the risk the finish the satellite off, or should we preceed that we can likely fold into a seat so no need to call? That's why I would like to hear some calling ranges for these different chip stack situations...

You are right about folding into the money being the correct play on occasions, but that would be pretty difficult at a 4 person table.

I guess I'm calling here with JJ+, but maybe not AK. It depends how well the others had been playing, what I'm putting shorty on, and how the medium stacks are playing.

I would need some reads on villain to give better answers.

As is, I am calling with TT+/AKs with all 4 of the chip stacks you mentioned vs. villain.
