Default Accomodations for Commerce LAPC?

I was thinking of going to play in some prelim events in the Commerce LAPC, but the hotel has no rooms available. I've never been in the area, so i was wondering if anyone had suggestions on where to stay?

The Montebello Best Western is affordable and only a short drive away. I'm not looking for frills, just cleanliness and relative safety.

Default I\'m too cheap for that

Last week when i looked the Wyndham was $120/night on Hotels.com for the 10 days i was looking at (Feb 1-11), which is a little high, but doable if the convenience warranted it. Now it's listed at $180/night, which is too much.

By contrast, the Best Western is only $62. I appreciate the suggestion, though...

I know it sucks, but I booked the overpriced Wyndham. I'll be there from Feb 4th to March 1st, so I didn't want to stay in a hole in the wall. The Best Western I wasn't so sure about, but it has a decent location.

At least I know for the future to try to book farther in advance.
