Re: Bottom 2 on the flop, 180bb deep... pushit, pushit real good?
Why? I think calling the min raise is a much safer line here, for stacks are too awkward for a 3 bet on this flop. We are out of position, have little fold equity (we think), and have an extremely vulnerable hand.
I vote to flat calling the min raise, and reevaluating on the turn. If an 8 hits, we can confidently check fold. If a 6, 10, or heart hit, we can slow down. Mostly importantly, we WILL NOT be committed to this pot in any way. |

[/ QUOTE ] you would rather be in a pot of 20 with two pair vs a bad player rather than a pot of 70? how does this make sense. im not scared to play a big pot vs him, i was simply saying that i think pushing to his 2nd minraise is probably better than calling since i can no longer make a mistake. |

Re: Bottom 2 on the flop, 180bb deep... pushit, pushit real good?
Calling the original minbet is soooo bad. Keeping the pot small is pretty nitty here and doesn't come close to maximizing EV.
However, I think you can make an argument for just calling the 4-bet, and either just shoving the turn or crai or something. All in all though, I think OP played it fine. |

would you plan on folding any turns? i hate when i can't come up with a decent plan, hence the shove. the pot would be $112 and we would have $100 behind. |

villian called with an extremely well played AhA .
i dodged his outs on the turn and filled up on the river. |
