Re: Pokerstars: VPP per hand
I filtered this to only include tables with 8 or more players.
Small sample size on the NL (483 hands), but I'd guess it converges quickly. Interesting to see the plateau that happens at 15/30 LHE. Anyone figured up where the plateau happens in NL? 5/10 NL Fullring: 1.02VPP/hand (n=483 hands) 5/10 Limit Full : 1.08VPP/hand (n=7356 hands) 10/20 Limit Full: 1.36VPP/hand (n=4044 hands) 15/30 Limit Full: 1.51VPP/hand (n=7209 hands) 30/60 Limit Full: 1.49VPP/hand (n=9284 hands) |

Re: Pokerstars: VPP per hand
Nobody's mentioned them yet, but the pots are generally larger in split pot games and VPPs seem to accrue faster in these games, especially at the smaller stakes. I don't use pokertracker so I don't have exact numbers but I'd say someone who multitables small stakes LO8 or Stud 8 will end up with significantly more VPPs than someone who plays the same number of tables of LHE.

[ QUOTE ]
Anyone figured up where the plateau happens in NL? [/ QUOTE ] I'm pretty sure my calculations awhile back for $5/10 NL and $10/20 NL were almost identical, maybe even with $5/10 NL being slightly ahead. I'd have to dig through my old db because I've dropped limits for the time being... |

Re: Pokerstars: VPP per hand
I suck at VPPs.
Since 1/1/07 @ 200NL (full ring): 8653 VPP in 17,513 hands = .495 VPP/hand. I checked the same parameters for the last 4 months of 2006, (when I didn't play much of this game on Stars): 9/01/2006 - 12/31/2006 @ 200NL (full ring): 8512 VPP in 14,797 hands = .575 VPP/hand How can there be this big a difference? Rigged??? |

Re: Pokerstars: VPP per hand
I'll throw in my two cents here for the seven card games:
7 Card Stud Hi: 1/2 = .434 2/4 = .435 *interesting* 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo: 1/2 = .507 2/4 = .576 Razz: *small sample but to just give an idea* 1/2 = .278 (1400 hands) 2/4 = .303 (1200 hands) |
