I can't believe I'm saying this, but BRING BACK JUNE JONES.

He could handle Vick.

I don't care about Vick either way, but I hope the next ATL coach builds the offense gameplan around Mike's skillset instead of trying to fit Vick's square into a round hole.

[/ QUOTE ]

No kidding. Either run an offense that utilizes the option, bootleg/run-pass plays and play-action, or turn him into a RB/WR.

You already have their former oline coach...simply copy Denver's-Gary Kubiak's offense from last year with Jake Plummer.

Good riddance to Mora. He charmed his way into the job, took the team Dan Reeves built to a division championship and then proceeded to destroy it.

Incompetent coaching and wanting to be the player's buddy instead of having thier respect cost him and it showed when the Falcons quit on him in the second half of the season, AGAIN!

Way to show your loyalty to the team on the radio and good luck getting a job in the NFL ever again.

Q: Wasn't this team one good receiver away from the Super Bowl this year??

[/ QUOTE ]

We basically should've been.

Before Kerney went out for the year, Abraham couldn't stay on the field for more than 3 games at a time, Hartwell never fully recovered from his surgeries, Rod Coleman had to play with a turf toe the entire season, Mora stuck to his 49ers loyalty by playing Jason Webster all the time, Kevin Mathis went out with a broken neck leading to Allen Rossum having to play at CB, and Greg Knapp woke up every morning.

[/ QUOTE ]

This post pretty much covers it....and the fact that the falcons couldnt convert a 3rd and 1 all year, mostly because they either run a 175 lb. running back up the middle with no lead blocker or throw the ball 40 yds. down field

Martz is one of those great offensive coordinators that makes an absolutely awful head coach.

nicely put, but with his ego and experience, it's hard to imagine he'll take another coordinator position; he's gonna want to move back up...

I'm a huge Fins fan and I would love to see Mora take over from Saban, and I would hate to see Martz take over from Saban
