Can i go buy a Wii yet?

Considering they are both Nintendo products and I don't want to start a new thread, has anyone heard of DS's coming in anytime soon? I hate the fact that I can find a PS3 but I can't find a DS.

well we have nothing better to do anyway and we're in central jersey, so we'll be checking out approximately 70 billion stores within an hour of us to try and find one

I live in california (bay area) and I just bought a DS lite yesterday afternoon from target. They had about 18 in stock and just before that I had went to best buy who said they had sold out 30 minutes before i got there.

I recommend looking at target for the wii as well. I talked to the guy there and he said that its best to check in the afternoons as they get all their shipments of Wiis and whatnot from UPS so they generally come in the afternoon rather than the morning. I'm not sure how stores in your area do it though. I"m just glad I lucked out and bought my wii the first week it came out from one of the employees at a game stop ( sucker thought they wouldnt be hard to find so sold it to me for only 20 extra [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img])

Doesn't that still make you a bigger sucker than all the people who got Wiis around the release without having to pay the $20 GameStop-Black-Market-Toll?

Well it took a few hours and like 6 stores, but we finally got one. We pulled up to the EB games as a UPS truck was unloading outside, but didn't think much of it since we figured they wouldn't get deliveries from UPS. We go in to ask if they have any wii's, he says no as the UPS guy wheels in some boxes. BINGO MWAHAHAHAHAHA. Of course it took about 6 more stores and another few hours to track down some wiimotes and we still don't have enough nunchucks, but whatever we got a wii!

I'm not sure, but how much is the time worth of all those non-suckers who didn't pay the toll, but instead waited outside of stores for 6 hours in the cold for a chance of getting one?

I rolled into the ToysRUs parking lot 25 minutes before they opened the day of launch. Got in line (the second line of the day, a bunch of people were there 5 hours earlier), got a reserve ticked 5 minutes later (last or second to last, some people came after me, so they were all given out).
