A bright spot in the Texans' otherwise dismal season.

Houston won 6 games this year which was a 4 game improvement from last year. They are making small steps. Do you honestly think adding Bush would have made that much of a difference on this team? The difference between them and the Saints is the Saints added a QB which made much more difference then Bush did.

NO as a team only averaged 3.7 YPC this year. Houston averaged 3.9 YPC. Reggie only averaged 3.6 YPC while Rayne averaged 4.1, Lundy 3.8. I know Bush is more valuable due to his catching abilities but I'm pretty sure this year was a huge improvement over the previous.

No, they were 4-12 last year, so it's a 2 game improvement.

I think adding Vince would have made a big difference.

No they were 2-14 with the first pick. The year before they were 7-9.

Tennessee, SF, Jets, Oakland, GNB were 4-12 and they picked after. NO was 3-13, they picked second. 4 game improvement isn't that great but it's not bad either.

No it doesn't. It makes the teams who could've used, but passed on, Ryans and let him fall to the 2nd round look worse. Plus Williams dealt with a foot problem all season.

Because Colston was a 7th rounder who did well, does that mean all WR's taken ahead of him "look bad"?

Congrats to DeMeco! One of the small things I enjoyed this season about watching my team on Sunday.

You do realize they could have had Young/Bush + Ryans, right? I don't see what your point is here. I think you are mistaking Ryans for Williams. Williams went first overall and plays DE. Ryans went early 2nd round, and plays MLB.

?? Winning 6 games isn't a great season, hell its not decent, but nots not horrible. Lions and Raiders had horrible season. The Texans improved and have maybe the best all-around reciever in the league. Their defense improved and are a few steps away from competing for a wildcard berth.

Just to note, both AP rookie of the year award winners are from the AFC South.
