Facebook/MySpace/Friendster/others
What's the difference? I recently got an email from a friend of mine to join Facebook, so I set up an account. Seems like there are a lot of kids on this one though. Are any of these sites halfway decent for meeting new people, or are they pretty useless but for posting pictures and showing how many friends you have?

Re: Facebook/MySpace/Friendster/others
face book isn't nearly as interactive as myspace. those are the only two i have exp. with. my space allows you to make really cool home pages with all sorts of pics as well as music. go with myspace.

Re: Facebook/MySpace/Friendster/others
facebook is more of a social network than a place to meet new people. I can't comment on any of the other sites, because I refuse to touch them

Facebook was originally intended for college students. That is how it should of stayed.

friendster was pretty cool a few years back, it's pretty much died over the years for some reason.
if you want to meet people, myspace is the best option. they made it where you can have private profiles so it's kind of hard to stalk people anymore. facebook sucks unless you're in college. |
