Very slighly better picture, but not very noticeable. I've heard averages of plasma t.v.s having 30k hours of life, while LCD's have 50-70k hours life.

30k hours is like 5 years of life if you're running it 24 hours a day. Even a sicko that watches 6 hours of TV a day is going to get 20 years out of that, by which time it will be so out of date you'll be glad it finally gave in.

And I would imagine that 30k hours is an 'average' isn't it?

If you aren't constantly turning it on and off or something I expect that should add life to it.

I first bought a 50 inch samsong plasma. I personally didnt like it because my living room isnt huge and you are suppost to sit 10 feet away from a plasma that big. also if u didnt sit directly infront of it, it wasnt that good of picture. So i took it back and got a 50 Inch samsong DLP. I love it, looks good from all angles and i actually think the picture is brighter. I have it hooked up using HDMI cables so the picture is super clear on high def. also movies on an up-converting DVD player rule.

[ QUOTE ]
the bonuses at 200k and 300k have good value?

[/ QUOTE ]

According to the site, the bonuses are 50k FPPs each. Under Supernova, that's like 15kish VPPs(base FPPs) for each bonus regardless of the cash value. For the $2,000 thats around 25 FPPs per dollar.

The two best at least semi-cashliquid values just from a quick glance appear to be the Sunday Million buy-ins and the Nieman Marcus/Onecall giftcards. Sunday Million and WCOOP buy-ins can be had at lesser value with W/T$ most of the time. These are all around 60 FPPs per dollar.

With this valuation of an FPP in mind, the Cayman and DB9 can be priced at $50kish and 85kish respectively, which is way below market price. Options, tax, import tariffs if you're outside USA are all additional as I understand, which probably brings their value closer to the other items offered, not to mention their lack of availability to lesser volume players and their lack of liquidity.

Most of us just look at it as spending $800 worth of FPP's (50k FPP's at 1.6 cents per FPP) to get $2k or $3k at each milestone.

Just subtract $800 from each milestone amount to get the 'true' value.
You get $1200 at 200k VPP's.
$2200 at 300k VPP's.
$3300 at 400k VPP's and so forth.
