NL25: Missing River Value Bets

I think I am mis-applying the "induce a bluff" concept on the river. Whenever there is a 2-flush on the flop and someone calls my flop and turn bets, I automatically assume they are on a flush draw, and when I'm OOP I'll check the river to induce a bluff when the flush doesn't hit. But more often than not villain checks behind with a 2nd best made hand, as in this hand:

What is a good read for when to induce a bluff?

I believe at NL25 it's important to bet out for value because your opponents at this level most likely won't be thinking along the same lines you are.

Try and induce a bluff when you think he has something he won't lay down or has missed a draw. You must have something strong though.

An example would be if you flop a middle set on a safe board with 1 high card and it appears he has TPTK and is the kind of player that won't let go.

Here you just want to value bet.

I'm new to this game, but I would have guess that this would be a great spot to check/call...

there are many possible hands that the oppoenent can have...if he has a worse Q or a T, we lose out on a value bet..(although some random villains will put and bet in if checked to here with a worse Q and maybe even once in a while with a T)..

if he has a 6 (unlikely, but possible IMO), we might save a little money..

there are many flush draws and straight draws out there that have all missed...

again, I'm new to $25NL 6max, but I really think that a check to induce a bluff is the best play here..althought he had a hand that it wasn't bet for..on average, I think it is most profitable

Either check the turn or bet bigger, when he calls the half-pot bet u still don't really know if he has a made hand or a draw. If the turn goes check/check you can value bet the river b/c he won't give u credit for a hand. As played, i like a check/call

I prefer a raise w/KQ from MP3..At FR limping may be fine tho..As played either check turn or bet closer to the size of the pot..As played I like checking the river..I can not see getting 3 streets of value out of TP2K w/o a good read on villain..
