Stars offering PL TD2-7 tournaments
PokerStars added a daily $10+1 PL TD at 14:45 and a $20+2 at 20:30. No SNGs or limit donkaments yet.
So... is it standard, in PL, to go broke with a rough 8, or worse, drawing at one? (I'm playing in the very first Stars TD tourney!) |

Re: Stars offering PL TD2-7 tournaments
There are regular PL 5CD tournaments as well. Me and Tom Bayes will be at the top of our games once more!

Re: Stars offering PL TD2-7 tournaments
Mark made 4th look so good, I decided to do the same thing in the next one.

Re: Stars offering PL TD2-7 tournaments
We ended up chopping three way after Mark got eliminated, it would have taken at least an hour with the blinds the way they were.
Unfortunately, like the S8 tourney on PS and FT (Why they moved them, especially FT, is beyond me), the time for these tourney aren't friendly for those of us with kids and jobs. There's the $10 @ 1:45 pm Central and the $20 at 9:30 pm Central. MGritter was the player I feared the most. Al? RLR |

Re: Stars offering PL TD2-7 tournaments
It appears PL 2-7 was one day only, as today's TD tournaments are limit, as are the rest of the TD MTTs on the schedule for later this week.
I suspect someone at Stars made a mistake and thought both the TDL and 5CD were meant to be PL. |

Re: Stars offering PL TD2-7 tournaments
Cool!
But now I can't stack anybody calling down with a weak 8. On the other hand, neither will I get stacked trying to move somebody off a smooth 9. |
