PokerStars eChecks exchange rate
I've been thinking about using eChecks to cashout from pokerstars directly to my Canadian bank account to avoid the fees that NETeller charges me. I'm sure there's other people who post here who've cashed out from PS to a Canadian$ bank account so I was curious did they give you a good exchange rate? Is there anything else positive or negative that I should know about?

Re: PokerStars eChecks exchange rate
thats an excellent question.
Neteller rapes us Canadians on the conversion, i think they take 1.9%. If i cashed out my bankroll, they take $665 (aka free PS3) |

I'm not sure about eChecks though, but I suspect you'll get spot rate... Mail Support and ask. |

Re: PokerStars eChecks exchange rate
true, but my neteller account is in US dollars because i used to do a ton of reloads on Absolute, which doesn't offer canadian exchanges.

[/ QUOTE ] That's a good idea. Unfortunately my NETeller account is in US$ and I don't think I could just open a new one. I did email support and they just told me to get in touch with PStars payments (another company that handles eCheck transactions for stars). I haven't heard back from them yet though. Guess I'll just have to withdraw $50 and see what kind of rate I get. |
