obv...but usually it is the other way around

the fact that OP lost is irrelevent. Both lines suggested (Unknown's and mine) result in him losing anyways.

The way the hand is played and the way the opponent has been described, I would feel more comfortable with the hand getting it on the flop. There are eighteen cards that, if they came, would make it difficult for me to check raise all-in on the turn.

By simply calling, I'm giving the opponent the opportunity to hit a card that could improve his hand. At this point, I'm fairly confident in my hand, and I would be willing to raise him all in on the flop, to get the opponent to make the incorrect choice.

It seemed to me like 3betting AI would force him to make the correct choice more often than the incorrect choice. That was the only reason i suggested the stackadonk on the turn.

If you disagree, then getting it AI on the flop is probably the best.

Ok, say I had no read. The sample is too small. Against an unknown loose aggressive player in a 3 handed game is this a good line to take?

I've noticed at this level players are much more inclined to call 3bets on the flop rather than a turn lead after a reraise.
