Just saw the preview for this yesterday. I like Sean Bean as much as anyone, but Rutger Hauer is going to be tough to top. For some reason I thought that the chick got put between 2 trucks in the first one, and now it looks like the dude.

Whatever - I don't think I'll be seeing it.

While they're at it, they should remake Night Hawks.

FYI, recorded Intacto from IFC last night. Hopefully watching that will get me really pumped about 28 Weeks Later. Keep an eye out for it, I'm sure IFC will be showing it more.

Intacto is overrated. Only a few cool scenes and a lot of boring crap in between.

I'm continually stunned by the lack of love for Grindhouse in this thread. It's so clearly the movie to be most pumped about.

Saw some more Grindhouse stuff on Sundance show Iconoclasts w/ QT + Fiona Apple. This show is pretty cool, the other one I saw was Eddie Vedder + Laird Hamilton. They basically film two famous people hanging out and talking and stuff and get an inside look of what they're known for. QT showed some stuff and talked about Grindhouse. I am not much of a horror film guy, so I don't care about it that much, but looks kinda intersting. I also had forgotten how much I love Fiona. A lot.

True that. I was underwhelmed by Intacto. It was a very cool premise that was hampered by a very very bad script.

Well, Highlander ruled, and all of the sequels have sucked complete ass (I did like the TV series, though). I'm sure this one will also suck, but I'll still see it when it makes it to DVD one or two weeks after release.
