Default Incident in Vegas

A couple of weeks ago (it may have been to this day exactly), there was a guy on top of the Fremont roof (the light display section). There was a big crowd, and in Vegas style people were betting with each other over the outcome.

Was wondering if anyone knew if he decided to jump or not?

I did not bet, otherwise I would have stayed to see the outcome

Someone said something like 5/2 on the jump, but maybe I misheard. Aaaanyway, as like EVERYONE was watching with the police and people down below the stupid bead women were still trying to give away their beads, I suggested they may get more business if they called them 'suicide beads'.

Seeing as there were so many there I thought 1 may be 2p2, or someone heard something in the news? I couldn't find anything.

I remember reading about it in the newspaper, I'm pretty sure he didn't jump...

Dec 15th. The guy was talked down. The fire department brought him down in the basket from the ladder truck. They strapped him down in a gurney and took him away in an ambulance.

Did he have a friend of his in the crowd taking action on the betting?
Would be a pretty amusing scam.
