I wonder why there is no one mentioning to achieve the new SNE by multi tabling FL SH $10/$20 or above. I was playing 4x SH $10/$20 at once and earning around 650 VPP per hour. However, a deep downswing made me sick of SH FL games so I didn't bother staying there since I already reached SN this year so the VPP was not something I care about. Since the new SNE benefits were released, I will take some time to re-evaluate the possibility to achieve it by multi-tabling FL SH games. Consider this, 650VPP x 6 hours a day = 3900VPP
I can even take one day off each week to hit the SNE by the last season of 2007, and it's only 4 tables. I am sure many SH pros can play more tables than that

That is very interesting...$10/$20, 4 tabling requires mega skillz and bankroll, in my book, but if your calcs are right, then that is how SNe will be broken. 110 vpp is too awesome to pass up...4 tables is about as good as one could probably manage, short handed limit really...8 tops (but I would think win rate would suffer).

My previous calcs were way off, so I'm going to sft until I get more data...NL$100 seems to be about 40 vpp/80 hands/hr and NL$200 is about 50 vpp/80 hand/hr...This would bring all my numbers back down to what everyone else is saying, roughly 50% rb.

If you calcs are right, and one could 8 table, they would make SNe in...770 hrs...I could only see a 'pro' doing this...but at 60 hrs/wk, that is 3 months...if your calcs are right, then you could lose 1bb/100 hands (or $130/hr) and about break even....if you are 0bb/100 hands, then you make $130/hr...if you value SNe at $100k.

I actually believe 1/2 provides more VPPS then 2/4 as well. It's close though.

This whole prospect is very tempting to try 10-12 tabling 1/2 6 max just to see if I could get anywhere close to what would be required.

Just doing the math if I could play that many hands a mantain a decent 3PT/BB it probably makes more sense to just grind it out indefinatly instead of trying to move up.

Are you referring to 1/2 LHE or NL. If LHE, I think 12 tabling is much easier than 8-10 tabling 6max, and I don't think you'd be giving up that many Vpp's per hour if any.

So it'd be $75,000 worth or stuff from the store then? And you also get 2 $12,000 packages for 2008. So thats $99,000 not counting the freerolls and you'd also get to earn FPPs at a higher rate next year....

man, very very tempting.

I feel safe in saying that the prize for REACHING SNE is the 2 out of 3 packages.
It would be pretty silly if they took away the prize if you didn't remain at SNE in 2008.

Great answer Yellowsub it took me a minute.

Players that make Supernova Elite will win two out of the three packages no strings attached. I'm guessing we will announce the first winner in less than 6 months.

less than 6 months??
Wow.

Can't say I'd be completely surprised by that.
But that's a pretty ridiculous pace.

prop bet?

i dont know how much more/less VPPs you get at FR, but this would require playing literally full time at the least for a year, no vacations, whatever.

That's basically 166k VPPs per month and people that play the high buyin SNGs like bigjoe2003 and river prayer definitely get that many.

If you did 1500 $225s and 500 $555s per month, you'd get 187k VPPs, more than enough. This doesnt even include $1000 SNGs. I don't know if someone could do it in 4 months, but it may be possible.
