Why? What made you think he's got you beat? A half pot bet on the river? I can't see nothing he might have that beats you.

Villain's line screams TPGK or a flush draw. The flush draw beats him.

Still, push this river 95000002309423049% of the time.

Dude, he called a PSB on the turn. What sort of a flush draw would do this? I dont see any associated straight draw on the flop to hook on.

ps I mean sure, gutshots with JTc, J9c, and T9c are possible, but its not enough to call PSB on the turn.

Maybe thinking about it like this will help.

If oppo called your turn bet with just a flush draw then EVEN IF you call his AI river bet you still have made money on the hand as he is calling $6 to win about $20 total. It's nice to be able to fold here if you know he now has a flush but you win this hand and he loses even if you call (and are correct about the flush draw).
You are getting over 3-1 on your river call so are you over 75% sure you are beat? I notice you included no reads so readless I'm always always calling here. Always.
Which convertor are you using? It's a bit half-and-half

EDIT: If I have time I'll look at the likes of AKs etc and it also may be worth looking at how the hand develops with larger stacks.

You assume that villain thinks logically and in the same way you do. Hint: He doesn't.

BK1,

I've taken an interest in your posts over the last few weeks and this one here says alot. I am not one to criticize but to lend a helping hand;when he called your flop bet, I begin to racket up the price to stay in the hand. On the TURN, this is where the PRESSURE is to be applied so as to make any decision on the part of your opponent difficult as possible.
My question to you is what kind of hand do you put him on? In this situation you MUST be WILLING to play for stacks. On the river, you are in charge. I believe that you lead out with another pot sized bet or push. Now, the decision goes back to your opponent.

Daniel Negreanu says, play big pots with big hands; what the heck! It doesn't get any better,as for me, I raise it allin or at least a large pot it!

Are you properly bankrolled for your level?

You can't make money unless you're willing to get yours in the middle- and that means you'll loose from time to time. There may be times when it is right to lay down a set. This isn't one of those times, nor is it even close given the stack sizes, action on flop and turn, and board.
