I went and opened up WPEX. When I signed in, two game tables opened up (a 5/10nl where I had 1650 and a 1/2nl where I had 230) I quickly closed them. I checked my balance and I had 100 more than when I did from playing earlier. I went to the website and checked my account statement.
Apparently, someone had been playing as me for about 8 hours and had lost 6 sessions in a row. Ranging from 50-500 dollars at a time. However, in the end they managed to have a +1600 session and win back my money and more. What is going on? Why would someone log into my account to play? I'm so confused and very very worried. |

this is weird.
Will be interesting to see what explanation WSEX support offers. Have you had your account locked yet? |

Oh yeah. It must be late.
Changing your password should be really obvious. |

I just spoke with support. They just told me to change my password.
I dont know what to do. I was a victim of ID theft over the summer when someone got into my firepay account. Obviously my computer is not safe, but mcafee/norton/spybot/spy doctor havent picked anything up. |

you need to take it to a shop and have it looked at.
Maybe even have them wipe everything off of it (try to save whatever important stuff, like pokertracker stats, beforehand). Something really isn't right obviously. I find that even the mom-and-pop computer parts and fix-it shops offer decent service for computer ignoramuses like me. You may also want to post this in the 2+2 'computer technical help' forum. You should probably ask WSEX support to please lock your account. Because your computer could very easily be so compromised that whatever key-logger is on it won't stop him from knowing what your new password is. You should change your password anyway. And maybe change your e-mail too. Whether you lock it is up to you. If he hasn't done this before and hasn't raided your other accounts then he probably isn't able to see every little thing you're doing. But he's certainly getting some of your info and you need to take action besides just trying to find it with Norton. |

So let me get this straight: someone broke into your account, played with your money, and ended up winning?
I feel like getting hacked too now. |

You might furthermore check all the hand histories. Maybe he didnīt want to lose a certain hand and played a huge pot against his partner where he (=you) hit a oneouter on the river. Or he (=you) were drawing dead on the flop against his partner, but the partner got disconnected on the turn and therefore lost that pot. Might be some possible reasons for you to be up a hundred now.
