bankroll general rule of thumb
in any given session of NL what is the rule of thumb one should lose before walking away? 1/3, 1/2 etc. i don't want to keep playing saying i know i can get it on the next hand and walk out broke.

Re: bankroll general rule of thumb
There is no rule of thumb. However losing 1/3 or more of your bankroll in one session means you're playing too high. You should never risk more than 5% of your bankroll in any session.
Get up when the losses have started to affect your play. That might be after one hand or after 3 rebuys. |

Re: bankroll general rule of thumb
This is very good advice. The worst thing you can do by far is chase your losses.
