Re: What\'s the fascination with KQ?
Scott,
Here's my question, you weren't in terrible danger, why did you push pre-flop? Did you put him on a weak hand? Were you making a stand? I am not trying to criticize you terribly here, but I think a call and a respesentation of the ACE on the flop would have won you the pot. But, I do agree, a lot of players I run into live or online..love a good race. It sucks sometimes. |

Re: What\'s the fascination with KQ?
Very good post Mr. Bear.
OP Unless you feel you are in TERRIBLE DANGER I would advise being more cautious with a weak hand like KQ. It is much easier to push people off a "made hand" if you can represent some DEADLY POISON like a STRAIGHT or A FLUSH, especially if the flop comes of that color. Next time wait to see as many cards as possible to decide to CALL, FOLD, or RIPOSTE EN GARDE ALLIN. To live you must be willing to die, sometimes painfully and slowly. --GA |

Re: What\'s the fascination with KQ?
KQ is one of my winningest hands but only an idiot would push preflop if its not HU/3 handed.
