Wu Tang if it includes all the solo records =) If not, hate to be cliched but would be Radiohead. Beatles might be the "correct" answer but I'm pretty sure I would actually go insane if I listened to them all day. Also, why the [censored] are people naming 5+ bands? The entire point of the thread is to narrow it down to one! [/ QUOTE ] Wu-Tang would be my choice if you could include all the solo albums but I don't think that is allowed. OP said no side projects which is technically what all those albums are. |

Re: One Band For the Rest of Your life
Bob Seger would be mine
Strong consideration for GNR probably would have gone with them if they had at least one more good album. |

Re: One Band For the Rest of Your life
Breadth and depth of catalog + quality of playing + diversity of music = Prince.
Beatles close second. |

Re: One Band For the Rest of Your life
There was a time i would have said RUSH without hesitation, but today, I'd probably go with The Beatles.
However, I would want every piece of recorded material ever made (not published...made, I want all the bootlegs and other unpublished material to magically appear at my feet) |
