Default 2 hands against a maniac

Villain is 56/25. He's been gettting into a lot of pots with me, and betting pot A LOT.

Hand 1 i flat called the flop because SB was a complete donk. I was 50/50 between calling/raising.

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG folds, Hero raises to $3.5, Button folds, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($10.5, 3 players)

Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($31.5, 2 players)

Kxh and hes shoving. yeah it sucks but where ahead of so much of his range. also donkeys use this play as a "ok he just called me on the flop so he probably has a queen and hes trying to trap me. King on hte turn ZOMG i can bet him off his hand now." and if he has a king in his hand he now has teh nutz man. its top pair.

so yeah im calling there as [censored] as it is

A huge overbet is rarely anything less then the nuts at NL100. Still he is a maniac so I don't know, I probably still fold though, get a better spot.

I felt both always against a maniac and expect to win both the vast majority of the time. Flop call in hand 1 is OK but not if you are planning to fold at any point.

Just saw he re-raised pre in hand 2 so the fold is OK given you are a little deeper but still close.

Two tough spots but you have to take make a stand. I think the second hand has more value then the first IMO. Both look fishy IMO.
