That hand would have been a lot more entertaining had we not had to deal with 20-second breaks every 3 seconds.

Eugene is one of those guys who would bang fat chicks then when a hot chicks shows some interest he would find any way to avoid her.

This absolutely is a scenario where someone is playing over their means.

Take the same situation, reduce everything involved by 90% -- does he call $150? Without question.

That's why even if Corp. Mike is reckless, ruthless aggression and a complete disregard for money is oftentimes going to be preferable to playing scared to the point where you'll only call big river bets with the nuts.

My best friend many think is a terrible player because in NL games he plays "too many hands" -- but he plays well post-flop and couldn't care less about bluffing thousands into a big NL pot ... which is why he is a bigger winner in the local games than many who play "better" than he does.

(Obviously, I'm not saying Corp. Mike is sans leaks in his game -- Bart and Tuch explain them often enough -- but I think he also doesn't get the credit he deserves, like in this very spot where he got a pot he shouldn't've gotten.)
