Did you get MONO in college?

I had it for a week last year. Luckily that week was spring break. Nothing like constantly taking 3 hour naps, then waking up for a couple hours while feeling horrible, then getting to sleep another 3 hours again while my friends call me up and give me [censored] for being a "pussy" and no going out...

I actually got it a couple years after college. Turns out you get a disease similar to it 3-4 months before the mono actually develops (but this "intro to mono" disease only lasts 2-3 days). I did get this 3-4 months before i got mono but can't remember where I read about, it was webmd or a similar website. Anyone else who got mono remember if they got sick for a couple days 3-4 months before they got mono?

EDIT: Either that or my gf was cheating on me.

i got it september freshman year (last year), which means i probably got it a few months before in july. i do remember being sick in july for like 2 days, and i dont know where i got it either because my gf never had it so i had no clue. it was a [censored] semester, but i did get to sleep a lot which is kinda nice as opposed to insomnia caused by stress

i had it in college. i remember just being chronically fatigued and losing tons of weight from not eating. i had no motivation to do anything. i think i had it for close to 3 months. thank god it was during summer vacation.

I've had it twice already, am a second semester sophomore. Actually you can get it up to 7 times is the number my doctor told me. Apparently there are 7 different mono "cousin" viruses all of which feature the same symptoms and treatment and therefore are just covered by the same test. I could be wrong on this but I can say that the first time sucked, and the second was worse (covered finals week and went into the summer about a month or so)

i got it sophomore year. i feel like i may have had a lucky case though. basically i was insanely sick fer two days/nights (eg-i had the chills, couldn't stop sweating, had a fever and a terrible sore throat) and then i was fine.
