What to do in NYC for New Years
I haven't lived in NYC for too long and am trying to figure out what to do for the New Year. Anyone know of good New Year events that aren't going to Times Square?

[/ QUOTE ] I've never spent NYE in NYC, but I would think going to Times Square or anywhere near it would be a nightmare. I'd find a cool bar with some cool friends.

Honestly, I would leave town. I live here [censored] hate NYC with a flaming passion on New Years. I rent a car and get as far away as possible.
Then again if you just moved here maybe you should experience paying 4X the usual amount to stand nuts-to-butt with a bunch of drunkards with spikey hair and z cavaricci's for yourself...
