Default I got a new hero today!

I was listening to a podcast of Mark Kermode's movie reviews, and he was reflecting on an interview with Werner Herzog, maker of many great films, most recently 'Grizzly Man'. In the interview at Herzog's house which is in Wonderland, Beverley Hills (this means nothing to me, is it near a rough spot?) they are overlooking the freeway, and someone shoots Herzog in the leg! Okay, with an air-rifle it turns out, but the guy didn't even flinch. He said something like 'Perhaps we should move away from this spot'

Kermode's response was something like: 'PERHAPS? LIKE IT'S OPTIONAL?!?'

Kermode then mentions how they continue the interview, but he's still concerned, and insists Herzog check himself, and he has indeed got a wound on his leg!

Now this was very cool, but I then heard Herzog apparently pulled Joaquin Phoenix - who played our mighty Caesar - from a burning car last week! This guy is over 60!

What a guy!

So, any of you people acquire a new hero recently?

One of the roughest. If you think the snipers are bad, you should get a load of Luke Perry.

Yah, I do know of Beverley Hills, but not specifically about 'Wonderland'. Is it an area for the stars or what?

Wow, if this is because of "Ridin Dirty" I apologize double for jumping on your ass for the southern remark.

DB, I have never had one, wish I would come across one (other than ones like "Yeah, Peter North man!!).

Actually I was listening to Mo' Murda at the time of the post. I'm not positive but I think that's Krayzie Bone on Ridin' Dirty.

First cassette I ever bought was eternal, but I think I spent too much time trying to decipher what they were saying to learn their names.

anyway, the point is still valid, great song, wish that group would make a comeback.
