This was a joke right and I am the only that caught on?

I don't think it's a joke. Either the OP doesn't know what goosebumps are, or he's wired funny.

hey, I like you!

from that list, "In the Back Seat" is a great choice, especially the crescendo "Alice died.... in the night...". I like "Landslide" for this, too. "Let Down" is another good one, and for the record, "Fake Plastic Trees" is a stellar choice-- isn't the story that they had to use the first take of that because Thom Yorke couldn't get through another one without breaking down crying?

Other than that... man, not a lot does it for me these days. Most Jeff Buckley is good for that (especially "Last Goodbye")... some stuff by the Carpenters (probably "Hurting Each Other" more than anything else).

I used to get 'em from "Thirteen" by Big Star and "Left of the Dial" by the Replacements. But I've cooled off a little in my old age. I still get excited ones (as opposed to sad or chilling ones) about The Only Ones' "Another Girl, Another Planet".

Oh, another good one: Antony and the Johnsons' "Hope There's Someone".
