Default Ask Wheel Gunner about rats

So last Friday I wake up and open the bedroom door. I notice it is odd that the carpet under the door is frayed and seems to be coming up. I think to myself half-asleep that the same thing was happening to the carpet under my balcony door. In fact what was so weird is that about a half inch of molding at the bottom of my balcony door was missing, So I go into the other bathroom because I have a barbell on the cold handle in the master bedroom because I am too cheap too call a plumber to stop it dripping. Anyway I look down and see a brown kind of thing on the carpet and think to myself WTF? Did |I have an accident? Then I look at the toilet and I see there is something in it. OK, I think, the sewer is backing up, not fun but we can deal. Look again, it is not a backed up turd it is a dead rat.

FREAKED OUT obv

LOL. When I was like 12 or so(and because of constant eating in my room), a rat was found under my bed. To be honest, I did not give it much thought, but thinking about it right now, that freaks the [censored] out of me. Also, a little while after that, in the basement TV room, a rat was found right in the fricken center of the room. God, I hate rats. No question for you though sir.

when i was in college, our city sewer system was being worked on right next door to my fraternity house.

i've "scored" rats with a pellet gun, sticky trap, animal cage, shovel, and stepped on one. i have spent more time hunting rats than 99.5% of OOT.

what do you think about that?

Have not dusted in a couple of weeks, but no it is certainly not floor to ceiling with old newspapers. I like fresh air and left my balcony door open for a while. No idea those [censored]-suckers even existed in my neighbohood.
